Stout Training Pittsburgh Fitness & Strength Training

Our classes emphasize efficiency in training (less time for more results ).  We also pride ourselves on the knowledge our trainers bring.  We believe professional trainers who are highly credentialed increase safety and also the quality of results our members see.  Our bodies are complex. They must combine strength, endurance and movement mastery to navigate live our best life. Because we use the body and break it down every day, we need ways to continuously build it back up while making strategic improvements along the way. Our Facility

At our location in Pittsburgh Strip District we have a great facility that includes free weights, complete dumbbell selection, the areas largest kettlebell selection, TRX and Rings, climbing rope, battle ropes, turf, sleds, cardio machines, and more.  We have 4 floors of parking directly above us so we are easy to get to and from.  We have showers and lockers.  We also have a traditional dry sauna. 

 

Our Classes

We have 5 types of classes that we offer as well as a limited open gym membership.  

  • Strength and Fitness Level I – primary tool is kettlebells, build strength, loose weight, build correct movement patterns
  • Strength and Fitness Level II – expand tools used and progress in fitness from level one
  • Metabolic Conditioning Circuit – short, intense workout, low skill movements designed to increase stamina, and increase metabolism.  These classes are great for people not in our other fitness programs of for those that are and want an extra boost to fat loss or endurance.
  • Personalized Advanced Group Training – In this program you get a personalized training plan and more individual coaching using barbells.  This is great for more advanced members or those who want an more personalized coaching. 

In addition to these core classes we also offer:

  • Ariel Silks – a fun and challenging workout
  • Kickboxing bag classes – great for weigh loss and endurance, good change from weights to shock your body, learn to punch and kick.
  • Open gym – use the room on your own when we don’t have classes
  • Personal training – One on One sessions with expert  professional trainers
