Steel City BJJ tournament Results for Stout Training Pittsburgh/ Team Renzo Gracie 10/2013

We got third place as a team in the recent Pittsburgh Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition run by Steel City Martial Arts, with only 8 adult entries and 5 youth BJJ entries! Almost all of our members placed in the tournament.  We had many less entries than other teams and most of our upper belt competitors elected not to compete.  Congratulations to everyone who participated. Gunnar 1st Gi and 1st No-Gi (maybe the grappler of the tournament, no points scored all submission wins)

Magnus 2nd Gi and 2nd No-Gi

Jack: 2nd Gi and 3rd No-gi (very technical for his age!)

Adults:

John P.  1st Gi  and 1st No-Gi whitebelt (all submissions except one 9-0 win)

Thomas 1st Gi and 1st No-Gi (was awarded the “outstanding grappler” of the tournament award)

Nick Bruno: 2nd Gi Bluebelt

Justin Steve  3rd advanced no-gi
