Will is the head striking coach at Stout PGH. He also is the strength trainer for our fight team. He boxed collegiately at Penn State where he was the team Captain his senior year. He attended Penn State University 2009-2013, where he studied kinesiology, and earned his CSCS. After college, Will started with Stout PGH working with our strength and fitness program and helping our MMA and Muay Thai fight teams with striking training. He has trained twice in Thailand at 13 Coins. He won a pro Muay Thai fight in Thailand in 2015. He has cornered and coached both professional and amateur Muay Thai and MMA fighters over the past 6 years. He continues to be an avid learner of striking techniques and strategies. He is an author of the well received book on strength training for fighters “The Combat Sports Strength and Conditioning Manual”. In addition to being a student of striking arts he also trains and occasionally competes in Jiu Jitsu (currently blue belt). He continues to train under the guidance of Joe Sampiere and our team, Renzo Gracie Muay Thai, out of NYC.
