Please refer to http://ibjjf.org/referees/rules/ for a more comprehensive list of rules. Please note that although this is a competitive event we would like to keep the atmosphere relaxed, friendly and safe. The goal we have for this event is to create a middle ground between training at your home jiu jitsu school and competing at a regular tournament. If you have less than 3 month experience with jiu jitsu we advise you do not participate. Also if you are a seaoned blue belt competitor, this event is not for you. We want a venue for new people interesting in competing to get there feet wet and to give local jiu jitsu practitioners a cost effective way to compete against others in the area. Please have nails clipped and a clean gi.
