Our striking program is mainly based in Thai Boxing, also called Muay Thai. It involves punches, kicks, knee strikes, elbow strikes, and some standup grappling called “clinch.” Striking is an integral part of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and self-defense. We do not focus on Thai cultural aspects of the art. Our school is composed of students from all places and cultures. Our program is built for beginners all the way up to advanced students and competitors. Every student has a different background, experience, and goals. We are the home of the area’s largest and most active competition/fight team.
Class Structure
Our classes accommodate different skill levels, from beginners to professional fighters. Our class culture is safety, teamwork, and development. We have three class levels: Fundamental, All-Levels, and Intermediate. Our goal is to progress you through these levels.
Fundamentals:
Beginner students must start with Fundamentals classes. These classes include core/foundational striking concepts including offense, defense, and footwork, among others.
All-Levels:
Beginner students may attend All-Levels classes. All-Levels classes are typically more dynamic and hands-on than Fundamentals classes.
Intermediate:
For students training 8+ weeks, and by invitation/pad test from a coach.
